Our Belief
Hephzibah Parish is part of the great commission of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), a worldwide church established in 1952.
Our primary pursuit is the establishment of God’s Kingdom on earth, and we have recognized that God has not created anyone to be insignificant. Hephzibah parish aim to support individuals to discover the purpose for their creation and maximise the innate potential placed in them by a benevolent Creator in order to positively impact the lives of those less fortunate than ourselves.
Our passion for the growth and development of the individual is reflected in the vision of the Church “making disciples of men”, and we are committed to making a positive impact in our local and the international community.

History of the Church
When it was obvious that the Lord would have the minister in charge of the Church move from United Kingdom to Canada. The Lord impressed it in his heart that the place where he is relocating to would experience a revival soon and he (the minister-in-charge) should direct his energy towards sensitizing the people of the need to revert back to the Apostle’s doctrine towards ensuring the fulfilment of God’s intention for Winnipeg.
As a committed Church planter and somebody who is keen on the realization of the mandate of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Prayers were offered to seek God’s guidance on where the parish should be located. This culminated in the Planting of Hephzibah Parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God around Transcona and Henderson highway axis.
The Church held its first service at the Canad Inns destination center Regent on July 1, 2012, and later at Morse Place Community Centre. The Lord provided a building for the church at 160 Smithfield, where services are currently held.
While praying concerning the name of the Church, the Lord directed us to a verse of the Scriptures on which to anchor the destiny of the Church.
Isaiah 62:4 “Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the LORD delighted in thee, and thy land shall be married.”
